Gstaad is expensive. Let's just get that out of the way first.

But for the right group, it can be exactly the destination you're looking for.

The moment that stays with you

The raclette walk.

You collect a raclette kit yourself from a little shop in the village, walk up the mountain to a hut that appears in no brochure, and light the fire yourself. Nobody arranges it for you. No guide, no group activity, no programme. That is exactly why it works, and why people are still talking about it months later.

Skiing with beginners and advanced skiers in Gstaad

Gstaad is friendly to beginners. Experienced skiers have options too, but the character is different from the far more sporty St. Anton or Sölden. That makes it interesting for a group where the differences in ability are large.

Does this fit your team?

Gstaad works best for teams who recognise this.

A good fit if
  • You deliberately choose the premium segment.
  • Quality, calm and service matter more than budget, whether that's a leadership team or a larger group.
  • A group of 50 is possible too, as long as you understand what that choice means financially.
Less suitable if
  • Budget is a heavy factor.
  • Après-ski is a priority.
  • The group is mostly serious, hard-charging skiers. If image matters but Gstaad goes too far financially, Kitzbühel is often a smarter alternative.
