How SlopeWorks handles your personal data.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
SlopeWorks BV, registered at Rodekruisstraat 64/1, 3920 Lommel, company number BE 1036.649.787 (hereinafter “SlopeWorks”, “we” or “us”), is the controller for the personal data processed via www.slopeworks.eu and in the context of our services. This statement explains which data we collect, why, and what rights you have.
What data we collect
- Via the contact form: name, email address, subject and your message.
- For a concrete retreat enquiry: name, job title, company name, contact details and the wishes you share with us (group size, dates, budget, destination).
- If it leads to a booking: the data needed to organise and run the trip, such as participants’ names, insofar as we receive them from the client.
- Via the Ski Trip Scan, only if you want to receive your result by email: first name, email address, optionally your company name, your answers and result, and whether you want to receive inspiration from us. Simply taking the scan leaves no data with us.
Why we process this data
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a tailored proposal (legitimate interest / pre-contractual step).
- To perform an agreement with you or your employer, once there is a booking (performance of a contract).
- To comply with legal obligations, for example the accounting retention requirement for invoices.
- To send you your scan result (at your request) and, only if you ticked the box for it, occasional inspiration about company ski trips (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Retention period
Contact enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for a maximum of 2 years after the last contact. Data from an ongoing or completed booking is kept for as long as needed to carry out the trip and for the statutory accounting retention period thereafter.
Who we share data with
Only with partners that are necessary to carry out the trip, such as the hotel, and with Kamp Vuur when a programme element is arranged with them, and always limited to what is needed (for example a participant list). We do not sell data to third parties.
Transfers outside the EEA
Messages sent through the contact form and details you leave via the Ski Trip Scan are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), in a data centre in the EU (Belgium, europe-west1). Google acts as our processor; only SlopeWorks can read these messages. Beyond that, SlopeWorks processes personal data via email. No other tools, such as a CRM integration or analytics, that process personal data of website visitors are in use. If SlopeWorks or one of its processors uses a provider outside the EEA, that processing takes place under a recognised safeguard (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). As soon as SlopeWorks deploys new tools that process personal data, this statement will be updated.
Cookies and local storage
The website places no tracking or analytics cookies. We only store a single technical preference locally in your browser, namely your language choice, so the site is shown in the right language. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data. You can also object to the processing, or ask us to restrict it. Would you like to exercise these rights? Email us at info@slopeworks.nl. We respond within a week.
Right to complain
Are you unhappy with how we handle your data? Let us know first, we are happy to resolve it together. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
